Common questions

Answers to the most common support questions about Copybook Club.

Can I use Copybook Club offline?

Core worksheet generation works on your device, so you can create and preview worksheets without an online worksheet generator.

Can I import files?

Yes. Copybook Club can import Chinese from PDFs, photos from your gallery, and DOCX files. Recognized Chinese characters are inserted as editable text before worksheet generation.

What should I do if recognition is inaccurate?

Try using a clearer file or photo with good lighting, less blur, and readable Chinese text. After recognition, review the extracted text before creating the worksheet.

Does Copybook Club show stroke order?

Yes. You can add stroke order to supported worksheets, so stroke-order cells appear before practice rows. It is a worksheet guide, not handwriting grading or correction.

Can I practice with Apple Pencil?

Yes. Apple Pencil practice is available on iPad for worksheets you create in the app. On iPhone, Copybook Club is mainly for creating, previewing, importing, and exporting worksheets.

Can I save my Apple Pencil handwriting?

Yes. On iPad, you can save your handwritten Apple Pencil practice as a separate filled practice file. You can also clear the practice layer and keep the original clean worksheet for writing again.

What happens to the clean worksheet?

Your clean worksheet and your filled Apple Pencil practice are handled separately. The clean worksheet stays available for reuse, and your filled practice can be saved as a separate file when you choose to keep it.

Are reminders local?

Yes. Practice reminders and free worksheet reset reminders are local notifications only. Copybook Club does not use remote push campaigns in this version.

Can I use Copybook Club on iPhone?

Yes. On iPhone, Copybook Club is mainly for creating worksheets, importing files, previewing pages, and exporting clean PDF worksheets.

Which Chinese writing system is supported?

Copybook Club currently focuses on simplified Chinese handwriting worksheets.

What paper size does the app export?

Copybook Club exports clean A4 PDF worksheets.

How do I restore Pro?

Use Restore Purchases in the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.

I found a Russian localization issue. What should I do?

Please email us with a screenshot and a short description of where the text appears. Copybook Club 1.1 includes an improved Russian localization, and reports help us catch remaining issues.
