Terms for using Copybook Club
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Copybook Club, including its worksheet tools, Bookshelf stories, paid features, local processing, private iCloud synchronization for saved worksheets and learning progress, and optional anonymous story feedback. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Overview and agreement
Copybook Club is provided by PM EXPERT COMPAMY DOO, Vuka Karadžića br. 5, 81000 Podgorica, Montenegro (“we”, “us”, or the “developer”). These Terms form an agreement between you and PM EXPERT COMPAMY DOO concerning your use of the app.
Copybook Club is a Chinese handwriting practice and worksheet- generation app for iPhone and iPad. It allows you to create worksheets from your own text, supported PDFs, photos or images, DOCX documents, built-in Word Packs, and words collected while reading Bookshelf stories.
The app may also provide worksheet customization, stroke order, A4 PDF export, Apple Pencil practice, automatic private iCloud synchronization, Daily Streak, Ink Drops, levels, interactive stories with different endings, collectible sticker rewards, and optional anonymous story feedback.
Copybook Club can continue to work locally when iCloud is not available. Cross-device synchronization depends on Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services. Submitting optional story feedback also depends on CloudKit availability.
If you are not legally able to accept these Terms yourself, a parent, guardian, or other authorized person must accept them on your behalf.
App license and acceptable use
Copybook Club is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control.
You may use Copybook Club for lawful personal, educational, classroom, and teaching-related purposes.
You must not:
- reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, tamper with, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- bypass or interfere with subscriptions, purchases, Pro access, usage limits, watermarks, entitlement checks, or other technical restrictions;
- use the app to create, import, store, export, or distribute unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or infringing material;
- use the app in a way that disrupts its operation, Apple services, another person’s device, or another person’s rights;
- copy, sublicense, rent, sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app itself or any unauthorized modified version of it.
Unless a separate custom end-user licence is presented, downloading Copybook Club through the App Store is also subject to Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable App Store usage rules.
Your material → your worksheet
Copybook Club content and your content
Copybook Club, its software, interface, branding, graphics, illustrations, icons, stickers, built-in Word Packs, Bookshelf stories, translations, examples, layouts, and original app content are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Third-party fonts, libraries, and other materials remain subject to their respective licences. Relevant notices are listed on the Licenses & Acknowledgements page.
You retain any rights you already hold in text, photographs, documents, images, or other content that you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use that content.
Copybook Club does not claim ownership of your imported text, documents, handwriting, or exported worksheets. You permit the app to process that content only as needed to provide the features you choose, including on-device processing and private iCloud synchronization where applicable.
You may use generated worksheets for personal study, ordinary classroom preparation, and teaching. You must not systematically extract, repackage, or resell Copybook Club’s built-in Word Packs, Bookshelf stories, translations, stickers, illustrations, or other app assets as a competing content library or product.
File import and text recognition
Copybook Club may recognize Chinese text from supported PDFs, selected photos or images, and DOCX files. Recognized text is placed into an editable field before worksheet generation.
Recognition results may be incomplete or incorrect because of file quality, page structure, image clarity, handwriting, lighting, contrast, unsupported formatting, or other technical factors.
You are responsible for reviewing and editing recognized text before creating, saving, printing, teaching from, or sharing a worksheet.
Copybook Club does not guarantee that every file can be opened, parsed, recognized, or reproduced accurately.
Worksheet features and PDF export
Copybook Club may provide Learn, Practice, and Word Packs modes, grid and font choices, character sizing, pinyin, translations, repetition settings, trace and fade options, stroke-order references, and other worksheet controls. Words collected from Bookshelf may be passed into Word Packs as a temporary custom set for worksheet creation.
Stroke order is provided as a visual practice aid. It is not handwriting grading, handwriting correction, personalized feedback, or confirmation that a handwritten character is correct.
Generated PDFs may contain formatting, fonts, pinyin, translations, stroke-order diagrams, tracing, fading, and a Copybook Club watermark where applicable.
After exporting a PDF, you are responsible for selecting its destination and managing any copies that you print, save, share, upload, or send through another service.
Output may vary between devices, printers, PDF viewers, operating-system versions, fonts, paper sizes, and printer settings.
Free, Pro & App Store
Free access and usage limits
Copybook Club may provide free access with limits on worksheet generation, imported pages, worksheet length, settings, fonts, stroke-order content, Word Packs, exports, or other features.
Free exported PDFs may include a Copybook Club watermark. Free usage may reset according to the schedule shown in the app.
Current limits and included features are displayed in the app and may be adjusted in later versions for technical, product, or operational reasons.
Attempting to evade or artificially reset a free usage limit may result in features becoming unavailable or other reasonable protective measures.
Copybook Club Pro
Copybook Club Pro may provide expanded or unlimited worksheet generation, subject to reasonable technical limits, together with additional worksheet settings, longer worksheets, premium fonts, Apple Pencil palettes, stroke-order access, and Pro Word Packs.
The precise collection of Pro features may change as the app develops. A purchase grants access to the Pro entitlement and features then made available under that entitlement; it does not guarantee that every future feature, content pack, font, or service will automatically be included.
Temporary previews of premium fonts or other Pro content do not grant ownership of, or permanent access to, the corresponding feature.
Purchases, subscriptions, and Lifetime access
Paid access is sold through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Prices, currencies, taxes, available purchase options, and trial offers, if any, are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase.
A subscription renews through Apple unless it is cancelled before the applicable renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account settings.
A one-time Lifetime purchase provides non-expiring access to the applicable Pro entitlement while Copybook Club and that entitlement remain available and supported. “Lifetime” does not guarantee that the app, every feature, Apple service, operating system, or device compatibility will continue forever.
Copybook Club does not receive or store your payment-card number or banking details. Billing, purchase history, renewals, cancellations, and refund decisions are handled through Apple’s systems and policies.
The Restore Purchases feature asks Apple to restore eligible entitlements associated with the Apple account used for the purchase. Restoration may depend on Apple’s records, App Store availability, and account status.
Deleting Copybook Club does not by itself cancel an active subscription. Subscription cancellation and refund requests must be managed through Apple’s systems.
Stories, practice, sync & progress
Word Packs, pinyin, translations, and examples
Built-in HSK and themed Word Packs are provided for handwriting practice and vocabulary review. They are not a complete Chinese curriculum, dictionary, exam-preparation course, or substitute for professional language instruction.
Where the app offers HSK 2.0 and HSK 3.0 collections, the selector identifies different vocabulary frameworks for worksheet practice. Copybook Club is not an official HSK exam provider, and the collections do not guarantee complete preparation for a particular examination.
Translations, pinyin, usage notes, explanations, categories, and examples are provided as study aids. They may not reflect every possible meaning, register, regional variation, pronunciation, context, or specialist use.
Word Pack content may be corrected, expanded, reorganized, renamed, replaced, or removed in later app versions.
Health-related vocabulary is provided solely for language and handwriting practice. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment guidance, or emergency information.
Bookshelf stories and collected words
Bookshelf may provide interactive stories with built-in Chinese text, pinyin, translations, choices, branches, and multiple endings. A choice may affect the route through a story and the ending you reach.
You may tap supported words to view study information and collect selected words for handwriting practice. Collected words form a temporary custom set that can be passed to the worksheet settings in Word Packs mode. The temporary set is not a permanent personal dictionary or vocabulary archive.
When you create and save a worksheet from collected words, the resulting worksheet is handled under the same worksheet and synchronization terms as other saved worksheets.
Story choices and language aids are provided for interactive reading and study. They do not guarantee a particular learning outcome, and a fictional situation or character response should not be treated as professional advice.
Stories, branches, endings, collected-word behaviour, and related rewards may be corrected, expanded, reorganized, replaced, or removed in later app versions.
Apple Pencil practice and saved handwriting
On a supported iPad, you may write on worksheets using Apple Pencil. Available pencil tools, palettes, performance, and compatibility may depend on the device, operating system, app version, and Pro status.
You may clear handwriting without saving it or save a filled practice worksheet. The original clean worksheet remains separate from the saved filled version.
Saved handwriting is included in a complete PDF stored through your private iCloud database. If you erase the handwriting, draw again, and save the worksheet, the newly saved drawing is synchronized and becomes the latest saved version used across synchronized devices.
If you separately export or share a filled worksheet, you are responsible for its destination and any copies created outside Copybook Club.
You should keep any independent backup that is important to you. Copybook Club is not a permanent archival or document backup service.
Daily Streak, Ink Drops, levels, and stickers
Copybook Club may award Ink Drops for eligible activities and use them to calculate levels, unlock level stickers, record discovered story endings, unlock story reward stickers, and display learning progress.
Streaks, Ink Drops, levels, endings, and stickers are app features designed for motivation, collection, and progress visualization. They are not money, virtual currency, property, or financial assets.
Ink Drops and rewards cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, redeemed for cash, exchanged for goods, or moved to another person’s Apple account.
Reward eligibility, daily limits, scoring, level thresholds, sticker assignments, story-ending rewards, streak rules, and visual presentation may be adjusted to correct errors, prevent abuse, rebalance the system, or improve the app.
We do not guarantee that a particular streak, score, sticker, ending record, or level will remain permanently available if app data is lost, corrupted, reset, removed, or affected by an Apple service or device issue.
Private iCloud synchronization
When iCloud is available, Copybook Club automatically uses Apple CloudKit to store and synchronize saved worksheet records and learning-progress events through the private iCloud database associated with your Apple ID.
There is no separate synchronization switch inside Copybook Club. Synchronization is enabled automatically when you are signed in to iCloud and the required iCloud services are available.
A synchronized worksheet record may contain its title, mode, input text, characters or selected words, pinyin, translations, worksheet settings, dates, and technical identifiers. If Apple Pencil handwriting has been saved, the record also contains the complete filled PDF.
A worksheet without saved handwriting is synchronized as the content and settings needed to recreate it. A clean PDF is not uploaded merely because you exported it.
When an existing worksheet receives newly saved Apple Pencil handwriting, the latest saved drawing version is synchronized between devices.
Learning-progress records may include Ink Drops, reward limits, streaks, levels, and unlocked level or story reward stickers. Story choices, selected paths, and temporary collected-word sets are processed locally and are not treated as a synchronized story history. If collected words are used to save a worksheet, the resulting worksheet record may synchronize as described above.
Copybook Club does not operate its own server for this worksheet content, does not create a separate Copybook Club account for synchronization, and does not receive your Apple ID, name, or email address through CloudKit.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, iCloud Drive is disabled, the network is unavailable, or iCloud is temporarily inaccessible, Copybook Club continues to work locally for features that do not require an Apple online service. Cross-device synchronization resumes automatically when iCloud becomes available again.
Optional anonymous Bookshelf feedback is separate from your private iCloud synchronization and is described in Section 14.
Cloud synchronization relies on infrastructure provided by Apple and may be affected by Apple services, account state, device configuration, storage availability, network conditions, operating-system behaviour, or service interruptions.
We do not guarantee that synchronization will always be immediate, uninterrupted, or free from temporary conflicts. You remain responsible for retaining separate copies of exported files or practice records that are especially important to you.
Deleting a worksheet inside the app creates a separate deletion marker and removes the worksheet from view across synchronized devices. The deletion marker and the previously synchronized worksheet record may remain in the private iCloud database. Deleting the app from a device does not remove its synchronized data from iCloud.
Copybook Club does not provide an in-app control for permanently erasing all synchronized data from CloudKit. Permanent removal is available through Apple’s system iCloud storage management controls.

Optional anonymous Bookshelf feedback
After a Bookshelf story, the app may invite you to answer a voluntary yes-or-no question about whether you liked the story format. If you respond, the answer is submitted through Apple CloudKit so that we can evaluate and improve Bookshelf.
The response is separate from the worksheet and progress records stored in your private iCloud database. The developer can access the submitted anonymous response in CloudKit for product-feedback purposes.
The response does not include your name, email address, Apple ID, worksheet content, imported files, handwriting, selected story path, collected words, or support messages. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or decisions about you.
Sending feedback is optional. Choosing not to answer does not restrict the app, Bookshelf, an ending, or a story reward.
Anonymous feedback may be combined with other responses and retained as described in the Privacy Policy. Because it is not linked to an account or direct identifier, we generally cannot identify or delete one person’s response on request.
Local notifications
Copybook Club may provide optional local practice reminders and free-usage reset reminders scheduled on your device.
You can manage notification permissions through the app where available and through iOS or iPadOS settings.
We do not guarantee that a notification will appear at an exact time. Delivery may be affected by device settings, notification permissions, Focus modes, battery settings, operating-system behaviour, or other system conditions.
What you can rely on
Educational purpose and no guaranteed outcomes
Copybook Club is a worksheet-generation and handwriting practice tool with interactive reading features. It does not guarantee improved handwriting, language proficiency, HSK results, memorization, stroke-order mastery, reading outcomes, classroom outcomes, or any other specific result.
The app does not provide handwriting grading, personalized correction, professional educational assessment, or a complete language-learning programme.
You remain responsible for deciding whether worksheet content, Bookshelf content, translations, recognized text, stroke order, and settings are suitable for your purpose.
App availability and feature changes
We may update, improve, correct, redesign, suspend, replace, or remove app features, content, limits, integrations, and technical requirements.
Features shown in development updates, marketing materials, screenshots, roadmaps, or previews are not guaranteed until they are released and available in the app.
We do not guarantee that Copybook Club will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every Apple device, operating-system version, printer, PDF viewer, file type, document layout, font, network, or Apple service.
We may discontinue the app or a feature where reasonably necessary. Where applicable, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Support and bug reports

When reporting a problem, provide information that is reasonably necessary to explain it. Do not send confidential, sensitive, or unrelated personal information.
We will make reasonable efforts to review support messages, but we do not guarantee a particular response time, a solution for every issue, or continued support for every device or operating-system version.
Privacy
Your use of Copybook Club is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains on-device processing, automatic private iCloud synchronization, local use without iCloud, worksheet recipes, filled Apple Pencil PDFs, progress events, Bookshelf activity, optional anonymous story feedback, technical identifiers, purchases, notifications, support correspondence, deletion markers, retention, and permanent removal through Apple’s iCloud storage controls.
Final legal notes
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Copybook Club is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, permanently available, or suitable for every particular purpose. We do not guarantee perfect recognition, translation, stroke order, synchronization, PDF rendering, printing, or learning results.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Copybook Club and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the app.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms when the app, its business model, paid features, Apple integrations, data practices, legal requirements, or other material circumstances change.
The Last updated date at the top of the page will identify the current version. Continued use of Copybook Club after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms where permitted by applicable law.
If a change requires separate notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it in an appropriate manner.
